NAACP Columbus Branch President Nana Watson Safe After Car Theft Incident
Columbus, OH – October 17, 2024 – The NAACP Columbus Branch confirms that President Nana Watson is safe following a car theft incident that occurred yesterday evening. President Watson’s vehicle was stolen from the parking lot of a restaurant in Bexley.
The stolen vehicle was later located on the south side of Columbus, where it was found vandalized. Authorities are actively investigating the matter.
President Watson and the NAACP Columbus Branch appreciate the outpouring of concern and support from the community. We will continue to cooperate with law enforcement to bring those responsible to justice.
